The 50 Years of Alford Craft Market Exhibition Opens Today

2024 marks the 50th anniversary of Alford Craft Market who are planning a full year of celebrations through our events, classes and hands-on arts and crafts activities, all underpinned by our shop which is open all year round.

Set up in 1974 by Alford Pottery’s Michel and Heather Ducos, Alford Craft Market is the UK’s longest running craft market. It enables Lincolnshire artists and makers to sell their work and to promote an interest in arts and crafts. Alford Craft Market has a strong reputation for high quality art and craft products and events.

Run entirely by volunteers, they promote Lincolnshire arts and crafts via our events, classes and shop. The Alford Craft Market Shop in Alford Market Place sells work by 36 makers. An extensive year round programme of classes runs from our Craft Centre in Alford.

Alford Craft Market’s 50 years Exhibition at The Alford Manor House runs every day, the Alford Manor House is open from Tuesday 16April to Friday 25 October 2024. There is free entry to all households in the LN13 area.
