.Shops were open saying ‘thank you’ to their customers and visitors by giving out mince pies, sausage rolls, mulled wine and sherry. There were stalls in the streets, Hot Chestnuts, Christmas Carols, and of course Father Christmas himself. Many families enjoyed the festive atmosphere which had a Victorian Fayre theme this year.
