.The sun shone at Furlongs Festival run by Sutton on Sea Residents Association, a great day was had by all. The day started with Russell Circus doing a performance, next generation dance team gave an outstanding demonstration, The Alford Steel Band entertained us twice during the day. St Clements Barn Dancers showed us their dance moves. A well attended dog show took place in the morning, free fun fair rides were enjoyed by many children and clay modelling was also very popular. Punch and Judy made a couple of appearances during the day. Cuddles with the Alpacas, stroking the birds of prey, with photos being taken to capture those special memories. Silent disco was greatly enjoyed by adults and children alike. A brilliant selection of classic cars were on display. There were many stalls selling their produce and crafts. Plenty of charities doing fund-raising, and certainly no shortage of places to get something to eat.
