.We are grateful for the peace, tranquillity and friendship that we enjoy in our village. Whilst we appreciate our own surroundings, our thoughts are with the people of Ukraine at this terrible time in their history. We hope that the conflict is resolved soon and that the lives of the people there can return to some form of normality.
I am looking forward to the year ahead and a return to old events that have proved popular and new ones too… events that haven’t been possible for a couple of years! Planning is already under way, thanks to a group of committed and eager volunteers who have joined the committee.
I would like to thank them for coming forward. I would also like to thank Gordon Moss, our outgoing Chair, for his continued commitment through the Covid era and also all the members of the outgoing committee, who kept us going through the last two years.
As residents of Sutton on Sea our Association is here to serve you. Join us… let us know what you would like from us. We can’t promise to deliver everything, but we’d love to have your input… and we WILL listen!
