*NOW FOUND* Can You Help Reunite Mary With Her Late Husband’s Ashes?

In September 2022 Mary Bagshaw had a day out at Anderby Creek with her daughter and their two dogs, enjoying an ice cream from the Cafe, walking on the beach and having fish and chips outside Popas Bar. Only when Mary arrived back at her home in Blidworth near Nottingham did she realise she’d left behind her distinctive walking stick with its red glass handle that contained her late husband’s ashes.

Despite returning the next day to retrace her steps, Mary was unable to find the walking stick and even posters put up by friends, and posts in local Facebook groups have been unable to turn up any leads.

Now a year later, Mary still hopes that someone might yet be able to reunite Mary with her husband’s ashes, so that he may join her on her dog walks once more.

If you found Mary’s walking stick, please consider what a personal and important item this is for her and contact Anderby Creek Cafe (01754 874000) who will ensure it is safely returned to Mary.

Please share this article on Social Media to help get the word out no matter which part of the UK you are in, as Mary’s stick may well have been picked up by a holidaymaker or day tripper.
