.We had a really splendid four day Easter Craft Market which ran from Good Friday till Easter Monday at the Alford Corn Exchange. Given the good weather which could have tempted visitors to stay on the beach, we had really good
visitor numbers on all four days. The children’s Easter Egg Hunt run by the Alford Town Promotions group on Saturday made it the busiest day of all, and some of the children came on afterwards to decorate eggs with us. Most of our stallholders reported excellent sales, and some of our new members are now considering booking other events with us later in the year. Thanks are due to the Corn Exchange for their commitment in running their café for us, always much appreciated, and also to our stalwart musician friend Banjo Bob for serenading us each morning. We are now looking forward to our Exhibition of Artist’s work at the North Sea Observatory which takes place in May.
